Jinxuan is famous for its milky texture and fragrance, so often referred to as Milk Oolong. Jinxuan is thick and creamy and has a natural milky aroma, which is pleasing.
The "Three Daughters" of Taiwan are the varietals, which are native to the island and made Taiwan tea famous: Jinxuan (Golden Lily), Tsui Yu (Kingfisher Jade), Siji Chun (Four Seasons Spring).
Taiwanese High Mountain tea refers to oolong tea harvested from plantations more than 1000 meters in elevation. Higher elevations have become synonymous with higher-quality tea. Nowadays, the most famous high-mountain growing regions are Yushan (1400m), Alishan (1600m), Shanlinxi (1700m) and Lishan (2500m).
