Organic Floral Bird Tongue Guizhou Green Tea

Unlike most other green teas, it is not rolled and the leaves and buds stay largely unbroken. The buds and leaves are expertly pan-fried in a wok which further brings out the tea's unique characteristics.

The taste of the tea is sweet, green and vegetal, with notes of soybean and fresh flowers. There is some slight astringency and a pleasant bitterness that counters the sweetness, lending it depth and complexity if brewed correctly. The taste and aroma last through many infusions.
