Fei Tai teas are intended for export to Taiwan, representing the highest quality Xiaguan teas. This recipe was first produced in 2006, again in 2008, 2009 and this year (2011). This year's FT Mushroom tuo comes in a simple square box. As is typical for FT productions this tuo is composed of a blend spring harvest leaves between 1 and 3 years old. This blending lends it a textured and well-rounded flavor. The tea soup is gold colored and thick!
